From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the charming ambiance. The restaurant's menu evolves with the seasons, showcasing local ingredients that truly add depth to each dish. During my stay, I opted for their signature Chicken Schnitzel, which was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The regular toppings offered provided an element of personalization, allowing me to tailor my dining experience to my taste. One of the highlights was exploring the exceptional wine list, featuring meticulously curated selections from local wineries. The judges responsible for these accolades clearly take pride in ensuring quality-each sip was a testament to the diversity of wines produced in Western Victoria. The proximity to Seppelt Wines meant that indulging in some local wine and cuisine was effortless. When I took the bus service for a quick jaunt to the renowned wineries, it only added to the convenience. The Great Western Hotel blended the comfort I needed with a rich culinary journey worth savoring. I'd certainly consider returning for the food experience alone.
